Natasha Blount
Mediator
Natasha Blount is an attorney admitted in Maryland and a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, and the University of Baltimore School of Law.
For twelve years, Natasha served as a criminal prosecutor, handling complex and emotionally difficult cases, including domestic and family violence matters. That work gave her a close view of what contested litigation costs families, both financially and otherwise, and how little control parties retain over the outcome once a case reaches a courtroom.
Natasha has completed Maryland's 40-hour basic mediation training, along with 20 hours of training in child custody and access and 20 hours in financial and property matters. Together these are the qualifications required to appear on the court referral list in Maryland.
Those experiences shape Natasha's approach to mediation. When families resolve disputes outside a contested courtroom setting, they keep more control over the decisions affecting their children, their finances, and their long-term stability. Mediation makes room for thoughtful conversation, structured problem solving, and planning that looks forward rather than back.
Natasha works with steadiness, clarity, and compassion. She listens carefully, communicates directly, and helps both parties focus on practical solutions that will hold up over time.
As a parent and stepparent, Natasha understands that divorce restructures a family without ending it. She recognizes the importance of helping parents build workable, child-centered arrangements that reduce unnecessary conflict.
At Zadjura Family Law, Natasha guides families through mediation with structure and intention, working toward well-reasoned agreements that protect dignity and support long-term stability.
